Provo, Utah area

On Friday, the Esplin's took us to Salt Lake City Temple Square.  We ate at the Lion House's restaurant..it was the home of Brigham Young, and was built in 1856 and has been wonderfully restored.

The Tabernacle is a domed building constructed in the 1860's with great acoustics

We visited the Tabernacle where the Choir sings, and a pin dropped at the podium can be heard in the back without microphones..they demonstrated it for us..the organ has almost 12,000 pipes and is amazing

There are statues throughout the square..this is Joseph and Emma Smith

Inside one of the buildings we saw a movie about Jesus's life on earth in the old world, and his appearances in the new world..very interesting to learn more about the Book of Mormon and the Bible

The Temple is very beautiful and that is a reflection pool behind us
Steve and I spent hours researching our family history..so much data is available..and volunteers to help

I forgot to include our visit on the first day to BYU, known as the Y

This is the Library...both Max, Cheryl and all 5 of their children graduated from Y

The campus is very state of the art and we were very impressed
