Minneapolis St. Paul

On Saturday, we started at the Cathedral of Saint Paul. It is the highest point in the city, and a great view of the Capitol. Friends told us to drive Summit Ave. to see the mansions and huge homes. Then we were on to Minneapolis neighborhoods around the chains of Lakes on Minnehaha Parkway. Downtown we loved the skyways, and went to the Mill City Museum. Drove along Riverside Parkway, and had dinner at Longfellows Diner..great food. We got back "home" just in time to view the tornado warnings all around us, but we were spared.
Sunday we listened to a sermon on the internet from our home church, and had a day of rest. Monday we are going to Iowa.
One of the finest examples of Beaux Arts architecture in the country. inside wedding pictures were being taken..we ran in to about 4 or 5 weddings!
