Spring Green in South Central Wisconsin

When we got here Monday, we took a long bike ride around the campgrounds and town. On Tuesday, we went to the Crane Foundation and to the Dells. We extended our stay another day to go to the Frank Lloyd Wright site, and decided to go to Madison to see the capitol and tour the city. Today we are leaving for Minneapolis area.

Here's us at the Riverside RV Campground...never had a concern with neighbors!

This has to be one of the most ornate and functional capitol buildings in the U.S. It is as our personal guide told us (no one else was on the 4pm tour), it is dripping with history
In front of this fireplace in the Governor's conference room is where he does most of his press conferences.

There was a Jazz at Five concert on State Street when we left the capitol building...how fun.

Frank Lloyd Wright's 37,000 sq. ft. home

Romeo and Juliet water tower..free standing and hug each other in construction, and how it got the name

The working school for Architects that he originally designed for his Aunts to run a boarding school. There are 23 students that stay here and move to West Taliesin in Scottsdale, Az in the winter months.

The International Crane Foundation is working with others across the world to re-introduce Cranes, and very interesting tour to learn how they are attempting to do that.

The two together are the very rare whooping cranes
