We're near the Mississippi river between Natchez and Vicksburg, Ms. but Lake Bruin is in Louisiana. It is a lovely park on the lake (which used to be a part of the Mississippi but got cut off).
We don't have cell or Internet service there, so I'm in Vidalia, La. at the welcome center using their computer. We're going to Natchez today, and will let you know what we see and do. This is a place we could stay for a month and not see everything.
